does anyone know any good, active forums for solitary wiccans with people that are more welcoming? I've been feeling as if some of the people on the community I talk with are being too judgmental and not understanding enough to honest concerns I have about spiritually related events that transpire in my life. They jump to conclusions on things and then when I feel I have a valid concern they go, "Oh that's probably nothing," and don't really help much, and I'd really just like to have people I can feel more comfortable with and get fewer negative criticisms from. But ya know, people will be people no matter what path they walk. You will always run into them at some point in time. I too have ran into judgmental people, even a few here, but they far out weigh the many friends that I do have here that care about me and when I have questions I always get some sort of response. The one thing I've learned about the criticism from people that call themselves witches or walk our path is that there is something going on inside of themselves that they try to project onto us that are seeking or just trying to be friends. With time your skin will become thicker and what others say will just roll off of you, because in the end it plainly just doesn't matter what they think, because they are either insecure, mean, dark hearted or wants to play follow the leader when around others. But these actions will not stop you from walking further down your chosen path. These critical people just can’t be real to themselves or honest to others or even to themselves. I think that they are so insecure as a person that they are afraid that people will not like them for who they really are deep down or what knowledge that they don’t know. |
